Foothills Community Baptist

Baptists have a longstanding belief that the work of the church should be supported by the members.  Our primary means of support of the work of our church is by the tithes (the first 10% of our income) and free-will offerings.  Because we are a small congregation, in a mission setting, we gratefully acknowledge the support of former members and friends around the U.S.  As a local, autonomous body, the Annual Church Ministry Budget is proposed by the Administrative Team and adopted by the Congregation in Regular Business Meeting.  As Southern Baptists, our congregation contributes to the worldwide sharing of the Gospel through the Cooperative Program of  Missions through the Dakota Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention: this year, we will give the first 11% of all undesignated tithes and offerings to help support the approximately 8,000 Southern Baptist International and North American Missionaries sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.  In addition, our congregation gives to three special Mission offerings throughout the year, the Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missionaries, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, and the Baker State Missions Offering to support missions through North and South Dakota.
